Easily Share Your Models Using Confluence Integration via OSLC*
The Innovator 16.1 release brings with it the possibility to share your Innovator diagrams with users who don’t have their own Innovator access. Modern Confluence integration via OSLC allows transparent access for all users within your company. Confluence integration is a new feature with deployment possible in Kubernetes or via Docker. You need to set-up a Windows service so that graphics are always up-to-date when changes are made to the model.
Modern REST API*
It is now possible to access your model data via a modern web interface (REST API). The REST API works in the same way as the already exiting C#- and Java server interfaces. Innovator has now increased its integration capabilities as a modeling platform with the new REST API. You can now also use important data from your model in other areas of your business environment and it is now even easier to integrate Innovator into your existing application landscape.
Easy Evaluation of Model Content Using Dashboards
Innovator 16.1 brings with it the option of creating clear and concise dashboards so that you can easily evaluate your model content. We have already added a few example dashboards to inspire you when creating your’s. The Dashboards tab can be found in the navigation and selection area (model content). You can now easily evaluate all important analytics concerning your applications, processes and data and display them as graphs. Use the dashboards to keep an overview of your analytics!
Start-Up is Now even Easier and More Secure for Distributed Environments
Innovator now has two new capabilities to help you easily operate Innovator on distributed environments: TLS encryption for all communication and reduction of ports required thanks to a proxy. TLS encryption means that VPN connection is no longer necessary for communication outside of your internal network. All communication (server and client side, as well as between server applications) can be encrypted using TLS. An Innovator proxy can also be started as a new server application, which bundles communication for all model servers using one single port, meaning no more than 6 ports need to be activated for the complete Innovator installation. It is also possible to encrypt LDAP access via LDAPS.
Further Improvements to Details for Proven Features
The verification wizard can now provide configurable and parameterizable verifications.. You have been able to activate e-mail notifications for your models since the last Innovator release. It is now possible to formulate the trigger for notifications as a condition so that e.g. You only get sent a notification if a certain property is modified. It is also possible to customize the layout of e-mails using templates. You used to previously be able to set annotations in your diagrams. It is now possible to comment on these annotations, making it even easier to collaborate on models with your colleagues. Use the client options to deactivate and reactivate individual plug-ins. Innovator recognizes the dependencies in your plug-ins and lets you know about any conflicts which may arise. Your bookmarks have now been made even easier to use with an integrated search so you can easily find your saved elements. You can now transfer your existing client settings, such as perspectives, model-specific settings, searches and client options into the new Innovator 16.1 version. What are you waiting for?
